ABOUT J CAPRI

Jordan Joel Phillips -J Capri- was one of the best exponents of Jamaican Reggae Dancehall of the second decade of the 21 century, was a member of the collective Head Concussion Records one of the most representative genre label. She was discovered some years ago by the young and talented producer Tarik Joel Johnston -Rvssian-, Jordan carried the music and rhythm in the blood, as was the daughter of DJ and Producer Kenneth Phillips -DJ Mr. Murphy from an early age received strong musical influences both of his father and of his cousin Chad Phillips -Dahj- and artists such as Patra, Vybz Kartel, Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah, Beyonce and many others over different musical genres. Among its main successes are "Boom and Bend Over", "Reverse It" "Whine and Kotch" with Charly Black and "Pull Up To My Bumper" Konshens hand.

Jordan died in his native Kingston, on December 4, 2015, as a result of complications derived injuries from a car accident, had 23 years.
